North Lancing Primary School

North Lancing Primary School was inspected by OFSTED on 11th October 2018.

We are thrilled with the report.  It strongly reflects the positive, happy ethos of the school and celebrates many of its strengths.

The report states that North Lancing provides a good quality education and has a passionate commitment to securing the very best provision for the pupils; pupils thrive and enjoy coming to school.  As with all inspections, the report also identifies next steps for the school.

Next steps focus on supplementary development of the wider curriculum and further acceleration of able pupils at Key Stage 1 to match the above national outcomes at Key Stage 2.

The report is different to previous inspection reports as a shorter inspection was carried out.  A short inspection determines whether the school continues to provide a good standard of education for the pupils and that safeguarding is effective.  A short inspection will not result in individual graded judgements and will not change the overall effectiveness grade of the school.

The school was previously judged to be good and the inspection team felt the school had continued to make enough progress to remain good.
